Hi,
got 2 17" TFT connected to a Geforce MX4000 via RGB/DVI.
Using 1280x1024,1152x864 works fine, using 1280x1024 on both monitors doesn't work - one is completely dark, the other shows half of the image.
There is no special entry in Xorg.0.log, only some warnings but they always appear even when using the working size.
1280x1024 should be too large for the monitor? But it isn't, with RGB it works fine, only with DVI it doesn't.
It's a Asus V9400-X with Geforce MX4000, 64MB, kernel 2.6.16-gentoo-r6 with X.org 6.8.2 (downgraded because of the same bug in 7.0), nvidia-kernel-1.0.8756 (yes, ConnectedMonitor is old, but doesn't work with the new Use... option at all). Maybe someone has an idea or a working configuration...
Also added
Code:

    Modeline "1280x1024@70" 128.94 1280 1368 1504 1728 1024 1025 1028 1066 -HSync +Vsync

to the Monitor section because I thought maybe "135 MHz maximum pixel" was too slow.
These are the warnings:
Code:

What're the specs of your monitors?

31.5-79.9KHz, 60-75Hz
63.9-79.9KHz, 60-75Hz using 1280x1024.
They are same model (Daewoo L1711MN), using the first head of the card it works fine.
I found out that it might be the pixel clock which is 135MHz for the second head. But 1280x1024 with 70Hz RR should work fine, I even tried 60Hz which doesn't work either - but even 108MHz pixel clock should be enough for.

Ok, found out that even 1280x960 works but 1280x1024 doesn't. It's not such a big difference between 1024 and 960 but the fonts are very ugly.
The KDE control center provides only 50 and 51Hz, saying it's 50Hz now. Why that? With 135MHz pixel clock the RR must be higher, no?
