Ich suche ein Programm, mit dem ich das System bequem administrieren kann. Ich habe bemerkt dass das Tool Linuxconf nicht im Portage drin ist. Gibt es da ein anderes Programm das zum konfigurieren des Systems?

Mir fällt da spontan noch webmin ein, damit lässt sich ein System, soweit ich mich entsinne, mit Hilfe eines Browsers recht leicht administrieren

hmmm.... Ich kenne Webmin. Die Frage ist gibt es auch ein normales Programm um das System zu konfigurieren.

Sorry, da muss ich passen, bei mir muss dafür immer nano/vi(m)/<editor of your choice> herhalten  Ich könnte mir höchstens noch vorstellen, dass KDE oder Gnome so etwas noch im Gepäck haben, hab hier aber leider keines der beiden am Laufen... |

Ich würde gerne wissen, was an webmin "unnormal" ist....
Wenn es darum geht, auf von der Konsole aus zu konfigurieren nimm webmin zusammen mit links oder lynx.
Ansonsten wirst Du nicht viel finden...
