I am using MySQL for preferences storage with Squirrelmail. When I make a preference change (say, changing the theme) the change is saved but I can not make it active until I logout and then log back in. I tried using the text file way and it works like it should but just the MySQL part doesn't. Any ideas would be helpful!

Also, I see that the latest squirrelmail available is 1.4 but portage has 1.2.11. How would I upgrade to 1.4 via portage?

TIA!

As far as I know it's not available in portage yet, so I just downloaded 1.4 and installed it manually, it's a trivial task anyway :-) Just remember, it's a php based program, so nothing is compiled at your system :-)
