Hi.im new to this forum..but not to linux. Ive been using SuSE and before Fedora Core for some time. Im not a complete noob to the world of linux. So i was wondering if anyone here runs a dual boot SuSE and gentoo system? Im d/ling gentoo 2006 live cd / with the installer on it ( so it claims on the ftp site) I have SuSE 10.0 and SuSE 10.1 installed with a comon swap / grub as my default bootloader. Im goin to use knppix live to make a 10-15 gig partition for gentoo. Im hoping itll work out with grub / and both my suse partitions are mounted after installing gentoo. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time / Raf |

Just read Gentoo HandBook, it will give you everything you need to install Gentoo on your System.
Installation is very flexible _________________ GerManson - Gentoo Linux i686 Dual Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz Processor

Hi and welcome to the forums.
I was a SuSE user from 6.1 onward. I've switched to Gentoo 2 years ago.
One advice is that you use SuSE to install Gentoo. Take a look at the Gentoo Linux alternative installation HOWTO. _________________ Jorge.
