|
|
Hi all,
I have a HP Visualize B1000 with USB keyboard (us-layout). The standard "us" keymap does not match the keyboard completely e.g. the # and | characters are not where the should be, the same for " and a few other. Is there a better keymap for this keyboard or do I need to set any other variables in /etc/conf.d/keymaps like WINDOWSKEYS or such?
Best regards,
Reiner. |

I have Debian on I2000 and it uses XF86.
Anyway, XF86Config says like this:
Quote: | Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Generic Keyboard"
Driver "keyboard"
Option "CoreKeyboard"
Option "XkbRules" "xfree86"
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
# Option "XkbModel" "macintosh"
Option "XkbLayout" "fi"
# Option "XkbVariant" "pc105"
EndSection |
If I don't remember wrong, pc104 was for US-kbd users. Please, try that if you haven't
found solution yet. _________________ /tmp. |
