My file system have problems. I dont know what i can do to fix it. Tried to use reiserfsck, but it only works on umounted partitions, and the problems is happening on my root partition.
Any ideas what can i do? Its fixable? My Hard Drive is bad?
My kernel is 2.6.15
The corrupt files are AFAIK on apache root directory (/usr/htdocs)

You could boot from a live cd and run fsck would probably be the easiest. Only one way to find out if it's fixable. You may want to run smart tools to check status of the drive.

Tks Patrick! I had to move some monitor, cdrom drive and keyboard to my headless server, find some livecd (used Kurumin), and reiserfsck fixed my file system. I just hope it was an isolated problem. I will try the smart tools to check the status of the drive. Tks a lot! |
