Hi everybody! Has anyone some troubles with xmodmap?? i have tried to install it manually, but it doesnt work out. Im not the code monkey in C, but i believe that some headers are missing. Well while posting this i already resolved, so anyway im going to post the word around.
If your emerge xmodmap fails, then re emerge this
emerge -av xextproto xproto xf86bigfontproto inputproto libXau bigreqsproto libXdmcp xcmiscproto xtrans libX11
and that should do the trick |

What version of X are you using?
xmodmap comes with the current stable.
Code: | equery l xorg-x11

Code: | equery f xorg-x11 | grep xmodmap
/usr/bin/xmodmap
