I am about to get gentoo, but I want to make sure the game America's Army works on it. I was just wondering if anyone had any problems with it.

well, i didn't have problems and i was even running it on a amd64 machine emulating x86. So, it's not bad. However, the army has discontinued support for it on mac and linux.

Theres a better free game out there called Enemy Territory. I personally hate the game itself, but the mod called True Combat: Elite is great, it's kinda like Counter-Strike, but more realistic, and theres a deathmatch mode. It's in portage too.

Since it's free you'll have to download many custom maps when entering a server, but it's worth it.
