k3b only in english, no other lang [workaround]

i need k3b in german for some computers at work, but i only get it in english, no matter what i do.
first i emerged kdebase-startkde, then some apps and other stuff (kioslaves), then kde-i18n. LINGUAS="de" was used in every emerge.
then i emerged k3b, fist time (by mistake) without LINGUAS="de" , then again with LINGUAS="de" set. i only get it in english.
i tried re-emerging kde-i18n, but now it won't compile, same error all the time: "nothing to be done for kde-multimedia" (i don't have or want that package). what do i have to do to get k3b in german?
all other kde-stuff i get in german.

i read the ebuild and found out k3b has its own i18n-package, (everything was there, it should have worked the "normal" way!) unpacked, compiled and installed it and now k3b "speaks" german. also built a package with quickpkg.
don't know the reason for the errors, but at least it woks now.
