Re-emerging nvnet to save alot of time.

Ok, I've had this problem a few times, and I can't vouch for this for everybody.

But personally, I've had to re 'make' my kernel a few times. After each time I make it, I HAVE to emerge nvnet. If I make the kernel, and reboot it won't load my nvnet driver, so I have to boot back into cd, chroot, then emerge it, then it works fine.

Just thought I'd throw this up there for anybody that's having some troubles with nvnet drivers.

why not make a small executable to make the kernel and the nforce-net driver

echo "make dep && make clean bzImage modules modules_install && emerge nforce-net" > /usr/bin/makeit

then chmod +x /usr/bin/makeit

So everytime you rebuild your kernel just type "makeit" and you wont have to remember to re emerge the nforce-net driver.
You could also include alsa if you use it.

I am sure some person out there has a better option, but this works for me.

heh. I'm such a nub at Linux, that I thought you had to buy Borland's C or C++ to make executables...I'm so lame lol.
