I actually find the handbook extremely straight forward and helpful.
creating user accounts on the livecd is optional, when you're trying to get someone to ssh into your system to help you out with the installation.
you can just start from the partitioning part (fdisk). |

i wish i could get a full livecd install to work. it always crashes. I think something might be wrong with my cd drive. |

autoinstaller.
Ive only got it to boot twice (out of about 10 tries) and on the 2 successes it crashed. |

yeah -- well building a system this way is somehow more satisfying than using the easy way . At least thats what I keep telling myself... |
