I just can't seem to get KDM to accept new sessions. I look up the session name in /etc/X11/Sessions/ then add it using kcontrol, but when i choose it to lok in with I only get a single xterm.

This is really annoying, since my kdmrc got trashed and now even my KDE install can't be started from it!

Any help?

Thanks, I suppose it will do the trick, but it's a bit of a "MSish" fix. :(

Thankfully though it coincides well with a security release of kdebase, so I will be remerging anyway. I'm still interesting in a better solution for future reference though...
