dont understand something about ipods/gtkpod/itunes [SOLVED]

Hey guys,

My girlfriend has an IPod that she uses with ITunes on her Windows XP computer. It works just fine for her, and when she brings it over we listen to songs on it through gtkpod which works great.

But then I will try to put one of my own albums on the ipod, which works perfectly through gtkpod adding the files and syncing it. They are now on her ipod.

But when she takes her ipod home and plugs it into itunes, itunes resync's with its library and seems to erase my album.

Is there something that we're missing? Or is this the way it is?

Yes, iTunes supports only unidirection synchronizing.
