when i reboot my scrolling by is "Failed to calculate dependencies [!!]" i dont know what it means but im hopingfixing it magically gets my 3d working, or something cool to that effect.

i followed the directions on gentoo.org's homepage under documentation code lsiting 25
http://www.gentoo.org/doc/desktop.html
but when i did it most recently i mounted -rw /boot and copied bzimage there from /usr/src/.../arch/i386... |

OOPS!
failed to calculate module dependencies is actually what it said to me
pacman,
are you suggesting there is an option in my kernel config that isn't checked off/working. the only thing i loaded as a module (i think) is ACPI driver (maybe joystick support too) |
