Is there any possibilty of getting the HPN patch added to a version of openssh or a seperate portage package including the patch?
http://www.psc.edu/networking/projects/hpn-ssh
Not sure if this is the place for a wish list.. |

USE="hpn" emerge openssh -av
or
echo "net-misc/openssh hpn" >> /etc/portage/package.use |

I'm not a dev... but I was wondering why openssh-4.3_p2-r1.ebuild has hpn11, when their site states 4.3p2 is to use hpn12.
Just curious... thanks!
edit: ok, decided to try it out myself and it seems to work fine. Submitted an ebuild patch under bug #135691 |
