Hi Friends!
I wan't to put the contents of /etc/motd (or /etc/issue) every time a user opens a new X terminal (xterm, konsole, urxvt, Eterm, whatever), or login via SSH.
Messages on these files only show up only when logging through console.
Is there any clean and easy way to do that?

For logins via ssh, you can set the Banner in /etc/ssh/sshd_config to poitn to the /etc/motd or whatever you like. _________________ "Blessed is he who finds happiness in his own foolishness, for he will always be happy". |
