Hi,
I'm trying (again) to get my hp server (hp9000 k200) updated. In the process of updating world (which, by the way, with four processors and 1.5gb ram you'd think wouldn't take 48 hours...), i get stuck at libperl. Errors are something like this:
Finding dependencies for deb.o.
./makedepend: line 111: -n: command not found
./makedepend: line 140: -e: command not found
Finding dependencies for run.o.
./makedepend: line 111: -n: command not found
./makedepend: line 140: -e: command not found
Finding dependencies for universal.o.
./makedepend: line 111: -n: command not found
./makedepend: line 140: -e: command not found
and so on...
I'm fairly certain this has to do with a tick mark in my uname screwing up the perl compilation. This arch gives me the following with uname -a:
Linux hppa 2.6.16.9-pa11 #1 SMP Sat May 6 01:31:30 EDT 2006 parisc PA7200 (PCX-T') 9000/800/K200 GNU/Linux
See that (PCX-T')? That's what kills me.
So... Anything you all think I might be able to do about this?
Thanks,
