V4L over NBD & co.

Hi,

i'm wondering if it's possible to share a Video4Linux (DVB-T device) over a network via NBD, ENBD or something like that.
Does anybody know if this could work?

I don't own such a card yet... so i can't test it.

I do not think this would work, since the v4l devices are character devices and NBD is for block devices. I can share DVD over the network with NBD without a problem, but I doubt this would work for v4l.
