2.4.30-gentoo-r3 and oMFS

I have just installed the topic kernel. I understand oMFS has been removed, and that openmosix group is looking into using GFS.

So my problem is what do I use in place of MFS/DFSA. Do I NFS mount /mfs from each cluster node to the main node. I read a few Install docs, Gentoo's and Openmosix.sf.net as well as the FAQ and they all say support is removed or being removed. But don't give any direction to replacements to use now.
