Hi,
I'm planning to buy a laptop and I don't know what to choose between a dual-core T2300 or a turion 64 ML-34. What is the best between a 64 bits desktop or a dual core desktop ? I don't know if I should wait for the 64 bits dual-core to come out. Any suggestion appreciated,

From what I read the floating point performance of the Intel's is not as good, but the power consumption is 4 watts less than the Turion. It really comes down to what you are going to be using the system for. Check out this article http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/04/24/dual_core_intel_processors_for_low/ on dual core processors. |
