I'm wondering if anyone out there has a nice MIDI card they can recommend to me? I'm looking for one with open source drivers. I want one for use with soundgarden.

Is the virtual MIDI device in the kernel enough, or do I need to spend some money here? My understanding is, if you want better sound quality, you need a nice MIDI card. Is this true?
