[gelöst]Umlaute im phpbb2 Plus Board verschwinden

Hallo Leute,

ich habe leider auch ein Problem mit meinen Umlauten. Ich habe mit ein Phpbb2 Plus Board mit der neusten Version installiert. Nachdem ich das Board fertig hatte, fiel mir aber auf, dass ich keine Umlaute darstellen konnte.
So wurde z.B. aus Originaltext: Bäume nur noch ein B. Der Rest war weg.
Als ich mit phpMyAdmin nach der SQL DB geschaut habe, waren dort acuh alle Umlaute weg. Dort wurden sie entweder auch durch ? oder ä durch ä ersetzt. Dann habe ich die DB gelöscht und habe wie so oft empfohlen wurde, die DB neu als Latin1_general_ci importiert (stand vorher auf utf8_general_ci). Dann kam Anstelle von Bäume B?ume. Ich habe echt keine Ahnung was ich alles editieren, verändern und/oder neu machen muß, damit ich wieder Sonderzeichen und Umlaute darstellen kann. Ich wäre für hilfe echt dankbar!
