HI!
Is it able to make xine using the second or third sound-card for audio output?
With oss it asks for a device number an tries to open /dev/dsp the. On my devfs there is only /dev/dsp2- though.
How is that able with the native alsa driver?

My two soundcards appear as /dev/dsp and /dev/dsp1
in xines's configuration menu you can select a dsp device number. Select the one for the soundcard you want to use.
Maybe (don't know exactly) you have to select the propper mixer device too. |

My 1st card appears as dsp, dsp-, adsp and adsp- (ens1371 with two DAC channels).
My second card appears as /dev/dsp1- and my third card is only accessible via alsa.

In xine it is only possible to enter the device number, not the device name itself. You can enter 1 which makes xine looking for /dev/dsp1.
