I'm trying to get aMule running properly on my machine. The ultimate problem is that port 6442 (the default port over which aMule connects) is not open and I don't know how to open it  . I noticed that my /etc/services has no line detailing 6442. Do I need to add something like...

Code:
 aMule   6442/tcp

...there in order for this port to open? Is there some way to bind that port to aMule so that when I start aMule the port gets opened?
