I'm trying to get aMule running properly on my machine. The ultimate problem is that port 6442 (the default port over which aMule connects) is not open and I don't know how to open it . I noticed that my /etc/services has no line detailing 6442. Do I need to add something like...
...there in order for this port to open? Is there some way to bind that port to aMule so that when I start aMule the port gets opened? _________________ Toshiba Satellite A105 laptop, 1.7 mHz Celeron M, 100 Gb hard disk, 512 Mb RAM, 2006.0, 2.6.16-r7 kernel
