Hi.
I saw .ebuild files for galeon 1.3.2 and 1.3.3 (in the galeon folder). Would like to install this, because I want a gtk2 browser. Tried emerge -p galeon-1.3.3, but it won't work... (can't find a package with that name or something)
I have gtk2 in my USE list and masked packages on. What else must I do? _________________ Sometimes I feel like Superman.

You have to emerge Mozilla 1.3-r1 first.
Code: |
cd /usr/portage/net-www/mozilla
emerge mozilla-1.3-r1.ebuild
|
Then you can emerge gnome-1.3.3
Code: |
cd /usr/portage/net-www/galeon
emerge galeon-1.3.3.ebuild

thanks - didn't know I had to add .ebuild at the end...
Why is that? _________________ Sometimes I feel like Superman.

I might have been a bit vague. I meant - why do you have to go to specify the actual file, while usually you can just go something like emerge xfree?
As in, do these aliases get specified somewhere? _________________ Sometimes I feel like Superman.
