I'm using
Code:
mail-client/evolution-2.4.2.1  +crypt -dbus -debug +doc +gstreamer +ipv6 -kerberos -krb4 -ldap -mono -nntp -pda -profile +spell +ssl

While clunky, it has been reliable until today. For some reason, something went wrong. I had performed an emerge --deep --update world recently, but that was a few days ago. Here is what I get when I run evolution from the command line:

Code:
@localhost ~ $ evolution
adding hook target 'source'

(evolution:15523): camel-WARNING **: camel_exception_get_id called with NULL parameter.

(evolution:15523): e-canvas-background.c-CRITICAL **: ecb_style_set: assertion `ecb->priv->gc != NULL' failed

I'm running on an amd64 platform

Code:
@localhost ~ $ uname -a
Linux localhost 2.6.15-gentoo-r5 #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Feb 23 18:07:03 Local time zone must be set-- x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+ GNU/Linux

Does anyone have an idea of what the problem is? This doens't look like a library dependency issue. Rather, it looks like the right library is getting the wrong signal.
