hi there,
i´m having problems with my wintv nova-t usb2 box.
everything seems to work fine when i plug the box in.
output in /var/log/messages is:
Code: | Jun 13 13:03:17 punk usb 1-5: USB disconnect, address 3
Jun 13 13:03:21 punk usb 1-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 5

Jun 13 13:03:22 punk dvb-usb: Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T usb2 successfully initialized and connected. |
when i do a /cat/proc/devices i have the following charachter devices relevant to this:
Code: | 81 video4linux
89 i2c
116 alsa
128 ptm
136 pts
171 ieee1394

the problem is that i can´t get the /dev/dvb/ devices for the life of me..
i tried the dvb.sh script in from another post hier and i tried to create the devices with MAKEDEV-dvb.sh
both didn´t work.
i´m using gentoo sources 2.6.15 and udev-087
i would have given up on this already if it wasn´t for the football worldcup
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks a lot,
