|
|
Hi.
I upgrade my gentoo from 2005.0 to 2006.0 (change profile, emerge gcc-4.1, emerge -eav system, emerge -eav world - everything which was on gentoo docs)
It was done without any problems.
1. But after then I reboot computer and I haven't network!
Error on startup is something like
configure your /etc/conf.d/net ............ifconfig or on older iface.
When I type lspci my network cards it listed.
When I type ifconfig I see only lo0. I haven't eth0 and eth1 which was listed on 2005.0.
What to do? On 2005.0 network works fine.
2. When i type init 0, init 6 or reboot my computer don't halt or reboot. It stops on INIT: Nothing to done or something like this.
Maybe I should recompile kernel?
Please help me. I don't know what to do. |

I didn't do etc-update but I try to update /etc/conf.d/net file.
Some users from this forum tells me that I should do etc-update (I thought emerge do this) and then should works fine
