|
|
A while back there used to be a ton of threads about getting the radeon drivers to work. Now a search turns up nothing. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
My specific situation is this:
I have a Radeon 9000 Pro, it has VGA, DVI, and Compsite out. I'm wanting to connect it to my HDTV. I also have ATI's DVI -> Component adapter and I would prefer to connect it to the TV via component for the HD but I'll settle for the card's composite video out.
Thanks for any direction! _________________ "...classes will dull your mind; destroy the opportunity for orginal creativity." |

The wiki is a good place to start...
http://gentoo-wiki.com/Ati
and in particular the link to Wedge's howto is particularly useful in geting things working with TV Out
