I have my ACX111 card working, but I noticed that the signal is weaker than in windows... I'm not a speedfreak or anything, I just like to improve my nerd rep and surf the internet OUTSIDE during this Summer! (instead of inside in a moisty cellar ). In windows I still get a signal outside my home, but in gentoo I don't Is there any way to increase the power of my wifi card? _________________ De omnis Belgae bravissimi ... erant |

Johny the Ripper,
Some cards have a transmit power control. Read Look at the txpower parameter. _________________ Regards,
