Looks like a problem:

Code:

zambizzi me # USE="arts xcomposite firebird qt kde" emerge kde
Calculating dependencies... done!
>>> Emerging (1 of 2) kde-base/kdeutils-3.5.2 to /
>>> checking ebuild checksums
!!! Digest verification failed:
!!! /usr/portage/kde-base/kdeutils/kdeutils-3.5.3.ebuild
!!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size
!!! Got: 1213
!!! Expected: 1215

While typing the message I was an idiot and deleted the ebuild in the folder listed above in the error message...and now I get this:

Code:

>>> Emerging (1 of 1) kde-base/kdeutils-3.5.2 to /
>>> checking ebuild checksums
!!! A file listed in the Manifest could not be found: '/usr/portage/kde-base/kdeutils/kdeutils-3.5.3.ebuild'

How can I get out of this mess and actually emerge the last two packages left for a full KDE installation?

Thanks!

which version of portage are you using ?
when was the last sync ?
suggest trying to update your portage, and retry ..
if portage is up-to-date, then try to sync with a different mirror, remove the source file that is causing a problem, and download it again..
