ok heres what im facing guys,

i start idesk fine, all the icons pop up, but when i go to drag one i get a "Floating point exception" error and idesk quits? any ideas why?

heres my libpng:
bash-2.05b# emerge -Cp libpng

>>> These are the packages that I would unmerge:

media-libs/libpng
selected: 1.2.5-r7
protected: none
omitted: none

>>> 'Selected' packages are slated for removal.
>>> 'Protected' and 'omitted' packages will not be removed

umm, do the apps start fine?

because if the only problem is that you cant drag them, then change the location in the config files, and lock their location.

that should allow you t o use idesk.

have you tried recompiling everything?

could have messed up somewhere.... :)

there appears to be a problem with idesk and Xorg 6.8.0. Can anyone else confirm this?
