| Does anyone have any idea? I just installed a linksys card into my gentoo box and I have no idea how to search for the device in gnome. ALso, I no longer have an internet connection on the computer because I was told by my parents to move it upstairs where I do no have a wired connection. I do have my windows box, which is recieveing a connection via wireless. Anyone have any idea how to setup internet connection sharing? I do have an ethernet port that could foward the dhcp to the gentoo box, once again I have no idea which is why I'm asking. |

Is it a pci card? Could you post the output of lspci?

| like I said, the box is without an internet connection at the moment. I need to find out to share my internet connection to the gentoo box. |

| ok, I have the init script for the card and lspci shows that the card is existant, so how do I set the card to eth1? Also, is tehre anyway that I can connect to the wireless network without the wireless tools? I can't get online unless this card will work without the wireless tools. Is it possible? |
