Hi,
ohne dass mir eine Änderung am System bewusst wäre, bekomme ich nach einem beliebigen Login (z.b. root) lokal keine Möglichkeit das zugehörige Passwort einzugeben. Stattdessen werde ich erneut nach meinem Login gefragt.
Lediglich SSH-Logins gehen Gott-sei-dank auch weiterhin.
In der Datein /var/log/auth.log wird übrigens nichts protokolliert.
Hat jemand eine Idee? Vielen, vielen Dank

Fehler gefunden! ich habe pam-login noch einmal gemerget, weil die alte /bin/login einen segemtation-fault verursacht hat! mein system läuft über ein jahr stabil, also bleibt die frage, wie sich auf einmal ein solcher fehler in meine /bin/login eingeschlichen hat!
Falls jetzt dazu jemand etwas beitragen kann, wäre ich auch dankbar
