I am installing gentoo when it says to delete the partition set aside for it. (I set aside a 30 gig partition so I can dual boot with OSX on a powerbook G4 PPC)
I type p and get the list of partitions and then type d to delete the partition I set aside just like stated in the handbook. Now when it says partition number: I typed /dev/hda3
everytime it says bad partition number.
What does that mean?!?! |

Moved from Installing Gentoo to Gentoo on PPC.
"/dev/hda3" is a string, not a number. Try entering a 3 _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered
