Sharing pnm2ppa printers with windows & Samba

I'm going to attempt to share my HP Deskjet 712c printer with a windows client running Windows 2000. Printer sharing does work in windows and I'm going to read this page http://pnm2ppa.sourceforge.net/PPA_networking/PPA_networking-1.html
to hopefully help me get it set up.

I'm posting this because I've had troubles before and I'm wondering if there is anyone out there that has got one of these types of printers to be shared successfully. My Linux box will be the host.

I cannot get this to work . The windows client can see my printer, but it cannot print on them.

They give this error:
Status: Access Denied, unable to connect.

I somehow got one of the shares (I set up a few shares for the same printer with different options) to not give this error, but it doesn't successfully print at all! Does anyone with a PNM2PPA printer using CUPS have print sharing working? Please help.
