Hi all,

Just accidentally I've looked to my /etc/hosts and I've found the following:
Code:

# /etc/hosts:  This file describes a number of hostname-to-address
#              mappings for the TCP/IP subsystem.  It is mostly
#              used at boot time, when no name servers are running.
#              On small systems, this file can be used instead of a
#              "named" name server.  Just add the names, addresses
#              and any aliases to this file...
# $Header: /home/cvsroot/gentoo-src/rc-scripts/etc/hosts,v 1.8 2003/08/04 20:12:25 azarah Exp $
#

127.0.0.1       localhost
10.10.10.1      pitr-int
10.10.10.2      dustpuppy-int
10.10.10.3      poseidon-int
134.68.220.30   toucan
# IPV6 versions of localhost and co
::1 ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
fe00::0 ip6-localnet
ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters
ff02::3 ip6-allhosts

I've made a 'whois' to 134.68.220.30 and I see:

Should I have to worry? (I think yes) It looks rather strange, since I have never modified the /etc/hosts file in this computer.

What should I do?

Thanks in advance.

Not neccessarily, afaik toucan is one of the internal Gentoo dev servers and this seems to be some leftover from release process or similar; nothing to worry about.
You can savely delete it if you want.

Ok, thanks a lot, I've just upgraded 'world', so I will remove it.

Thanks!
