Bonjour,
Logué en "root", j'ai installé selon les instructions de Macromedia le plugin flah player 7, vérifié sur notre forum et ailleurs.
Las! Cela ne marche pas!
J'ai mis à la main (car l'installeur ne marche pas sous x86_64) les fichiers flashplayer.xpt et libflashplayer.so sous le répertoire /usr/lib64/mozilla-firefox/plugins.
J'ai fermé Firefox et ré ouvert: ça ne marche pas.
J'ai rebouté la machine, ça ne marche pas plus!
Que faire?

en tout cas, tu peut vérifier si les plugins sont bien chargé via about:plugins dans firefox (si tu le faisais pas déja)
ensuite, je sais que j'avais installé flash via portage, net-www/netscape-flash et ça fonctionnais à peut près (firefox se fermais tous seul a des moments...)sinon regarde aussi pour net-www/mozplugger

ca ne marche pas avec la version compilée 64 bits de mozilla.
Si tu utilise un binaire 32 bits ca fonctionnera (en remplacant les chemins avec les bons) |

Pour ce qui est du About; Plugins je l'avais déjà vu, mais je n'ai pas su le trouver dans ma version française linuxienne (ni dans celle de windows, d'ailleurs!), donc je n'ai pas pu vérifier.

comment utiliser un 32 bits?
Macromédia ne propose qu'un type de fichier pour tout linux!

La version téléchargeable sur le site internet de mozilla est en 32 bits
sinon www-client/mozilla-firefox-bin
que je supose égallement l'être sans pour autant avoir vérifié. |

Oui, ça c'est justement ce que te disais mardi_soir. Pour avoir le flash, tu dois emerger la version 32bits de Firefox : emerge www-client/mozilla-firefox-bin. Et je crois qu'il faut que tu ai le profil multilib pour que ça marche. Mais mes connaissances sur le 64bits s'arrêtent là ...

Gnash c'est bien mais même quand ça marche à peu près, c'est pas encore ça :/
Sinon juste mis les fichiers de flash 32bits dans ~/.mozilla/plugins et ça marche quand on utilise firefox 32bits (emerge firefox-bin).

Oui, c'est le plomb, avoir la possibilité de travailler en 64 bits et se limiter en 32, en voilà un progrès...

Bah, flash inside. Le problème n'existe quasiment qu'avec des logiciels propriétaires.
