kalarm and sound files in kde 3.5.2

Hi.

I've used kalarm since KDE 3.4 to play sound files with new alarms. I generally create a new alarm, select a sound file and check the "Repeat" option to play the file repeatedly until I close the alarm.

Now I have migrated to KDE 3.5.2 kalarm sound files don't work very well anymore. Instead of playing a file continuously kalarm plays the sound file I select a very short while (less than 1 second), waits a rather long time and replays the sound file the same way.

Any patch to solve this?
