I've compiled it, installed it and can get a status. I can't understand how to use it. Here are my best guesses:
Code: | cd ~/.avfs/opt/ltsp-4.1/i386/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/UTI___14.pcf.gz#
bash: cd: /home/mslinn/.avfs/opt/ltsp-4.1/i386/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/UTI___14.pcf.gz#: Not a directory
$ pwd
/opt/ltsp-4.1/i386/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi
$ ls ~/.avfs/timR24.pcf.gz#
ls: /home/mslinn/.avfs/timR24.pcf.gz#: Input/output error |
AVFS seems to work, though:
Code: | $ ls ~/.avfs/#avfsstat
cache/ copyright debug http_proxy logfile modules symlink_rewrite version |
I also discovered that I can't copy a file into ~/.avfs. How is this virtual file system supposed to work? |

What I've read AVFS mounts are read-only..?
(I know. Old post. But if someone stumbles here like I did.)
