|
I am trying to use the desktop configuration guide to get my Alsa up and running. Everything goes great until I get to having to "update-modules". When I type it it gives me this error message:
/sbin/update-modules: depmod: command not found
the depmod command is in there. Another strange thing is that I can only use depmod when typing /sbin/depmod, and modprobe won't detect my things at all. Does anyone know what my problem could be. _________________ -------------------------------------------------------

Are you logged in as root or did you su? Try running "source /etc/profile" (or even put it in root's ~/.bashrc). |

thankyou so much that worked instantly. I don't know why I didn't try that before. Oh ya... because I didn't know how... oh well. Thanks. _________________ -------------------------------------------------------
