|

I've run across an odd problem, and don't know where to look for a log of the error, but Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.4 has started crashing on my randomly for some reason, and I'm unsure as to why. It has crashed with Google and www.quotationspage.com, both of which it has worked with before, so, anyone have any clue where I could start to look for the problem?
Only thing I have changed recently is using Composite with X11 (the old 6.8 mono build), and using 6 desktops instead of 4. _________________ The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner. |

I get the crash with quotationspage.com -- it seems to happen with some java sites when running blackdown-jdk on amd64. Does that describe your setup? |

Well, minus the fact I don't have blackdown-java installed (I havn't gotten the java doc file installed, which I need for every other java program). I think that clears up the problem dealing with Java.
Now I know what a patch writter feels like -.- _________________ The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner. |

that page loads with Opera. Hrm. I found another page that crashes Firefox, and not Opera
No problems here with Konqueror 3.5.2 on x86 stable
Thats from another forum, but it crashed Firefox, so, it must be something dealing with Firefox at its core. _________________ The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner. |
