I've got a problem with Eye of gnome, when I try to delete an image I get the following error:
Code:
Error on deleting image pict4037.jpg

Couldn't access trash
I can delete files in nautilus without any errors.

I'm _not_ using gnome but I have nautilus and eog installed and I'm using gnome-volume-manager. Any ideas?

Never had such problems myself, but I remember hearing of gnome-settings-daemon. Launch this in your windowmanager startup process and any gnome based program should have the global gnome settings.

Thanks for your reply!

I don't have gnome-settings-daemon installed, probably since I don't have all of gnome installed. What package is gnome-settings-daemon a part of?
