When I try to run the test to verify if qmail is working I get the following message.

# ssh vapier@localhost
# qmail-inject root << EOF
test root e-mail!
EOF

# cd .maildir/new
# nano -w 1151486640.14955.GENESIS,S=1404

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at localhost.
I tried to deliver a bounce message to this address, but the bounce bounced!

<ghost@localhost.localhost>:
Sorry, I couldn't find any host named localhost.localhost. (#5.1.2)

--- Below this line is the original bounce.

Return-Path: <>
Received: (qmail 19369 invoked for bounce); 28 Jun 2006 10:08:59 +0000

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at localhost.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<root@localhost.localhost>:
Sorry, I couldn't find any host named localhost.localhost. (#5.1.2)

--- Below this line is a copy of the message.

Return-Path: <ghost@localhost.localhost>
Received: (qmail 19367 invoked by uid 1000); 28 Jun 2006 10:08:57 +0000
Date: 28 Jun 2006 10:08:57 +0000

I followed the guide from http: //www.gentoo.org/doc/en/qmail-howto.xml
I went tru step by step and I never recieved any errors.

Here's my /etc/conf.d/hostname

HOSTNAME="GENESIS"

HEre's my /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 GENESIS.KHIMERA.NET GENESIS localhost.localdomain localhost
