I wonder if (I think it's possible) and how I can manage connection directions...
I think I've to control/observe the SYN-packages, or not?
If I want, that my server could connect SMTP 1.2.3.4 on Port 25, which rules I have to set?
On the other side Client want to connect to server port 80...
Is there a way to controll the direction of connection?
Perhaps anybody could help me...

I think shorewall provides a good interface for managing your rules.
Its very easy-comprehensive and gets iptables to do what you want. _________________ weber@terminal3 ~ $ man women
