Ciao
seguendo le istruzioni trovate su
http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/java/java-upgrade.xml
ho installato assiema java 1.4 e 1.5
Però con java 1.5 non riesco ad utilizzare alcune feature come orbd
da linea di comando non si avvia...
Cosa può essere? Classpath sbagliati?

No, non da errori semplicemente non posso lanciare
da linea di comando
ma se vado in /opt/sun-jdk-1.5.0.07/bin/
orbd c'è ese lo lancio funziona

Mi sa che devi settare correttamente la variabile di ambiente PATH.

Pensavo lo facesse già il portage anche perchè con il java 1.4 funzionava

Si, credo che dovrebbe selezionare una VM.
