raga sto strippando!!
è da stamattina che sto provando a mettere uno splash screen al boot..
ho seguito questa guida alla lettera
e questo post per il theme dei gechi.
inoltre mi sono spulciato tutti i thread sull'argomento ma non ci salto fuori...
questo è il mio lilo (la parte relativa)

nel kernel ho abilitato anche vesafb-tng con la stessa risoluzione... ho provato anche vesafb e radeonfb ma niente...
la risoluzione me la carica giusta ma non mi carica l'immagine
viene visualizzato un messaggio all'avvio dicendo che non riesce a caricare il default file di config
/etc/splash/default/1024x768.cfg
e di conseguenza non carica l'immagine
ma il link default sembra giusto...
