The wiki said I need gdm version >=2.14.1, so I emerged 2.14.8. And now when I rund gdmsetup, I get a lot of errors.
Code:

Command failed, no data returned
  Trying failed command again.  Try 2 of 5.
  Version check failed, bad version
Could not access configuration key <daemon/PidFile=/var/run/gdm.pid>
Using compiled in value </var/run/gdm.pid> for <daemon/PidFile=/var/run/gdm.pid>

....

Using compiled in value </usr/share/pixmaps/gdm-foot-logo.png> for <greeter/Logo=/usr/share/pixmaps/gdm-foot-logo.png>

  Version check failed, bad version
Could not access configuration key <greeter/GraphicalThemeRand=false>
Using compiled in value <FALSE> for <greeter/GraphicalThemeRand=false>

And when I go to Security and click on Configure X Server, gdmsetup suddenly closes and gives me this error in cmd line.
Code:

** (gdmsetup:1319): CRITICAL **: ve_config_new: assertion `file != NULL' failed
Segmentation fault

What is going on? Sorry, this question may have already been addressed, but it would take me forever to look through that 11 pages of XGL (part 5).

Edit: I tried the newest gdm and got the same error.
