Bonjour a tous !!

Ma config et mes souhaits de garder mon accel 3D (ATI X600 sur notebook) m'oblige a rester en version monoblock de X.
Comment dire a emerge 'proprement' que je souhaite garder ma 'vielle' version ? ou dois-je mettre tous les packets X comme MASKED pour qu'il me laisse tranquille....

une idée...

Euh à priori il n'y a pas de problème avec Xorg 7.0, c'est Xorg 7.1 qui posera problème. Enfin à confirmer mais à priroi ça devrait être bon (le 7.1 est en ~arch et non en arch)

Pourquoi lui dire non ? ^^
L'accel 3D avec ATI marche très bien avec Xorg 7.0
Et qu'est-ce qu'il y a de spécial dans ta config qui soit pas compatible Xorg 7 ?

ben j'avais suivi le tuto Xorg 7 (2 jours avant sa stabilisation)
la compilation c'est passé sans problème par contre impossible de retrouvé une acceleration 3D margré la recompilation de tous les drivers...
(j'avais des erreurs DRI et GLX en rapport avec ABI je crois) et
impossible de faire fonctionné les drivers proprio ATI...

ma config : portable asus V6800V.

quelqu'un a une X600 qui fonctionne avec l'accel 3D avec Xorg7 ?

Je suis en ~arch, la 3D fonctionne parfaitement avec xorg-7.0 (xorg-server-1.0.2-r7), mets ces paquets ds ton fichier /etc/portage/package.mask

Tout ça est parfaitement périmé. le 7.0 est en x86 et en amd64 donc sauf si tu as une archi vraiment spéciale, il n'y a rien à faire. (Le 7.1 est en ~arch par contre)

J'ai mis a jour tous les pakages mais j'ai un autre problème.... et la je tourne en rond... :cry:

Réinstalles les fonts qui sont les dépendances de xorg-x11 et xorg-server, il doit y en avoir une qui c'est mal installée.

déjà fait ...

mais cela n'a rien changer... j'ai réinstallé la plus part des fonts dans media-fonts ; 'fixed' etant une police de base j'ai reinstallé les package du genre core-font, ...

une autre idée...

(ca va lui prendre un sacré bout de temps + 200 pkg) ; j'ai vu sur d'autre forum que c'est un problème de cache font mais j'ai regenerer le cache fc-cache ... ca change rien....

bon X démarre :D

par contre j'ai un phénomène généant visuellement qui traine depuis longtemps ... mais je ne sais pas d'ou ca vient ??

il s'agit d'une petite bar horizontal d'1 pixel de haut (qui represente un bout d'image bufferisé ) qui traine sous le pointeur de la souris ??

cela ne se produit qu'avec les drivers proprio ATI... et dès que nautilus est chargé ??

quelqu'un a une idée

J'utilise les drivers ati (+ xorg-7.0 + xgl + gnome) avec une carte ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M sur mon portable et je n'ai aucun souci...essais de changer de versions...
