I was looking at the x86 Quick Install on Gentoos website and they had parallel-fetch ccache in their make.conf. I was wondering what it does and is it good to have? |

Moved from Installing Gentoo to Other Things Gentoo.

parallel-fetch allows you to fetch a package while compiling another.
ccache is compiler cache which caches the output of C/C++ compilation so that the next time, the same compilation can be omitted.
